EACM Advisors approaches hedge fund investing with a multi-strategy, multi-manager discipline. Our hedge fund team provides customized products for a truly global client base. Currently the firm manages approximately US $3.0 billion in fund of hedge fund assets, across two basic product lines. Our low volatility products seek to earn positive absolute returns, with a volatility profile comparable to US Bonds. Our medium volatility funds are designed to deliver a somewhat higher return, while maintaining a volatility objective of US bonds plus 2%. |

Assets are based on December 31 balances, from 1997 through 2008 (except for the assets depicted as of May 31, 2009), of fund of hedge funds managed by EACM Advisors LLC and its predecessor companies Evaluation Associates Capital Markets, Inc. and Evaluation Associates Capital Markets, LLC. Excluded are assets from a sub-advisory relationship with a financial intermediary client whose contract began in 1997 and was terminated as of June 30, 2002. Current clients by geographic region and relationship are as of May 31, 2009 and geographic regions are determined by the location of the client’s headquarters.
At EACM Advisors, we believe that a carefully selected group of investment managers, overseeing portfolios of traditional assets, can outperform passive benchmarks. Our manager of managers approach is the foundation of our investment philosophy, and we have been providing our clients multi-manager products since 1984. Currently we advise approximately US $1.7 billion, including approximately US $0.8 billion in discretionary assets across a number of strategies, such as large cap equity, small cap value, and small cap growth.
Discretionary assets are based on December 31 balances, from 1997 through 2008 (except for the assets depicted as of May 31, 2009), of traditional long-only accounts managed by EACM Advisors LLC and its predecessor companies EACM Partners, L.P., Evaluation Associates Capital Markets, Inc. and Evaluation Associates Capital Markets, LLC. Current discretionary assets by investment product are as of May 31, 2009.
