Institutional Experience

1976 – Evaluation Associates, the predecessor to EACM, established as an institutional pension consultant

1984 – A dedicated unit formed to manage discretionary long-only multi-manager products.

1991 – A family of hedge funds of funds is launched, with partners from a recent management buyout as seed investors. The fund management unit is named Evaluation Associates Capital Markets, Inc (EACM).

2003 – In December, the consulting unit is sold to Milliman USA and EACM remains independent.

2004 – Evaluation Associates Capital Markets becomes EACM Advisors, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mellon Financial Corporation. (On July 2, 2007, Mellon Financial Corporation merged with The Bank of New York Company to become The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation.)
